First Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh

The first of a proposed international chain for the Italian fashion house famed for it’s colorful fabrics and knitwear, open the Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh, UK. The six-story structure at The Royal Mile and George IV Bridge is square in the middle of some of the most breathtaking Old Town architecture.

Their signature Missoni patterns, zig-zags, stripes and bold colors are everywhere from bed sheets to table cloths, everything has been meticulously thought.

This colorful piece of paradise is chock full of heavy-hitters from the design world, including Marcel Sandes, Eero Saarinen, Arne Jacobson and Hans Wegner. In the rooms, gadgetry such as Jacob Jensen telephones and a Bang & Olufsen TV system.

Other cities in preparation: Kuwait City (Kuwait), Cape Town (South Africa), Jebel Sifah (Oman) and Ilha de Cajaiba (Brazil)。
