Born in New York, Nina Edwards Anker is a graduate of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, with a master’s in architecture. Her firm, NEA was founded in 2006 operates in New York and Oslo focusing on architecture, furniture, and exhibition design. One example of their furniture design work is the Cape Chair.Designed through 3-D computer modeling, the chair balances a fanned back with slim front foot. For production, the chair will be available in both an indoor and outdoor version.
The outdoor version of the Cape Chair will be manufactured of bent metal in Brooklyn, NY. The indoor version, above, is constructed in London.
