russia-based yar rassadin is a product designer who works on projects which range from lamps,
mp3 players, USB flash drives to salt and pepper shakers. in doing so, he tries to discover new meanings in ordinary objects.
his project, TIN lamp for triode design / paris is a contemporary art object which reverses the roles of the light bulb and lamp shade. TIN sands for 'torshier in lamp', in which you find that the light bulb has become the lamp, with the lampshade housed within acting as the 'bulb'.
