Here’s a fully-paper sculpture from Berlin designer Julien Vallée. It is called “Paper Sculpture” aka “PAPER SPRAY”.
The folding of paper is an activity that pre-dates paper by several years, followed soon after by the creative folding of paper for the purpose of beauty!
